The almost bottomless purse

What a lovely story (and advert) – A Mum’s inheritance has only been granted if her two sons use the money to watch their beloved Wales rugby team around the world.

The latest Guinness advert, released to coincide with the start of Rugby’s Greatest Championship, is on that very theme and has already proved a hit with supporters.

‘The Purse’ tells the true story of David and Gareth Rees, who keep the memory of their late mother Olive alive by following Wales in the Guinness Six Nations.

Olive left her sons an inheritance on the sole condition that it was used to follow Wales in the Championship, as well as a purse which they use to hold their kitty on matchdays.
